SUBSTANCE: method of time synchronization in processors and input/output devices of a computer includes a clock local to the processor or input/output device, which are incremented by pulses from a clock generator, wherein the local clock is incremented by a value from the working increment register by pulses of a single clock generator for all processors, and updating of working increment register is performed from preliminary increment register by periodic time synchronization pulses, wherein the value of the preliminary increment register is filled by the operating system based on a comparison of the speed of the local and external reference clocks.

EFFECT: high accuracy of the obtained time even when correcting the clock.
