FIELD: information technologies; data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital data processing, namely to PC clock synchronization. Said result is achieved by fact that in each processor and in each input/output device, which uses accurate time their local clock is set. Periodic pulse S of time synchronization from external or internal single source is sent to all local clocks. At moment, when pulse S is received in local clock register RH is incremented, register RL is recorded in register RP and register RL is set to zero. Register RL is constantly incremented from any convenient clock generator. Synchronized time, expressed in periods of pulse S, is calculated by formula RH+RL/RP. Reduction of local clock phases is made at their initiation. For this purpose required value is recorded in register RH, when value of register RL is sufficiently different from 0 and from register RP.

EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of clock synchronization of processors and PC input/output devices and shorter duration and time reading error from said clock.
