FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, namely to structures of hulls of underwater vehicles, to which requirements for sound and vibration absorption are applicable. Section of outer shell of underwater vehicle body contains cylindrical shell, on outer surface of which within two zones there are ribs of variable height, oriented in horizontal plane, outer edges of which are covered with layer of elastomer material.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of sound absorption and vibration absorption by the design of the outer shell of the underwater vehicle hull while maintaining its hydrodynamic characteristics and increasing its overall strength.
