FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industrial sound insulation and can be used in the field of mechanical engineering and shipbuilding to protect against noise and vibration, in particular, vehicle operators and workers in industrial premises, including under conditions of increased static and dynamic loads on the floor covering. The vibration-isolating floor covering includes a matrix of elastomeric material, essentially sheet- or plate-shaped, the structure of which includes a reinforcing element that has sound and vibration-absorbing characteristics and provides rigidity to the entire structure.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of static loads is achieved, ensuring the possibility of using the vibration-isolating floor covering without significant deformations, as well as increasing the efficiency of the device in the low-frequency range without increasing the weight and size characteristics.
