SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for preparing a pharmaceutical composition, involving providing a matrix solution containing a matrix-forming substance, a structure-forming substance, 0.1–1.5 wt./wt.% of limonene and a solvent, mixing a plurality of coated active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in a matrix solution to form a pharmaceutical suspension and dispensing the pharmaceutical suspension into the preformed blister packs; also relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing a plurality of particles of an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), a coating material encapsulating each API particle from the plurality of API particles, a matrix-forming substance, a structure-forming substance and 1–5 wt./wt.% of limonene.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides minimization of aeration of the pharmaceutical suspension containing API particles with a hydrophobic coating, to improve the pharmaceutical suspension homogeneity and increase the dose weighing accuracy.
