FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to control over airship. Method of airship stabilization without tail unit, in which airship longitudinal axis is placed strictly against average flow velocity. Force action and dynamics of change of this action on airship envelope from air flow side are determined by means of at least 22 pressure sensors located at least five pieces along at least four meridian lines through 90 degrees relative to airship axis. Data on pressure distribution on airship skin is sent to computer. Using the software, generating the necessary algorithms of control pulses and correction of the longitudinal axis of the airship in the flow through four thrust generating stations, consisting of cyclic and propeller propulsors with an axis of rotation parallel to the axis of the airship, located parallel and symmetrically to its vertical plane outside the skin, in interval from 30 to 70% along the airship chord.
EFFECT: stabilization of airship without tail unit, increased safety of flight and reduced power consumption at movement in specified direction.
