FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: helistat contains shell filled with buoyant gas, autogyro rotor, cabin crew and passengers, tailplane, power unit and chassis. Autogyro rotor pylon is installed in the nose of helistat in the zone of the greatest curvature change that forms the surface of shell so that the maximum variations of elementary air trickles of incoming to the surface of rotor flow fall on central part of rotor's disk area. This autogyro rotor is included in pitch and course command system with the ability to create moments of lateral and longitudinal forces relative to the center of gravity of helistat.
EFFECT: ability for efficient track and longitudinal control at high and, in particular, at low speeds, enhancing the safety of helistat landing and take-off.
