FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of turbomachines, in particular to the fan units for air cooling devices. In fan unit plane of location of axes of alignment of profile of blades, i.e. axes of rotation for change of angle of installation of blades, is located in plane of transition of housing of fan unit into stepped diffuser, additionally in the stepped diffuser at the height of the deviation of the outlet part of the blades from the plane of transition of the housing of the fan installation into the stepped diffuser at the maximum angle of their installation, axisymmetric mesh ring as an extension of the fan housing, besides, outlet part of blades is longer than their inlet part by 20–30% of the chord of blades, while aerodynamic ridges are made equidistant along the arc of a circle, located behind the average aerodynamic radius of the blade on its working and rear surfaces, with bases directed at the blade inlet so that the output edge of the extreme aerodynamic ridge of each blade is directed tangentially to the axis of rotation at the point of its intersection with the blade end.
EFFECT: purpose of the proposed invention is to create a structural scheme of a fan unit, which ensures elimination of detached vortex formation at the outlet of the cooling gas from the impeller to the stepped diffuser due to transfer of part of cooling air to kinetic energy of radial movement under action of centrifugal forces, excluding backflow of flow to inlet of impeller, id est to low pressure zone.
