FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method for increasing the energy transferred to the medium with bladed turbomachines involves supply of medium through a suction branch pipe of the turbomachine to the inlet of volume blades of its impeller, conversion of mechanical rotation energy of the impeller to potential and kinetic energy of the medium owing to shaping its circulating flow around the volume blades, which is determined with their rotation and contributes to pressure difference between working and rear surfaces of the blades, and the medium outlet with increased potential and kinetic energy from the volume blades through a delivery branch pipe of the turbomachine. Some amount of the medium is directed through the suction branch pipe from the inlet to the volume blades along inner cavity to their outlet, swirled in a cylindrical chamber at the outlet of volume blades to intense swirl movement and mixed with the medium flowing around the volume blades at their outlet to the delivery branch pipe.
EFFECT: increasing energy conversion economy and developed pressure, reducing dimensions and metal consumption, and reducing the noise level owing to eliminating vortex formation.
