FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and can be used in development of a salt deposit with production of platinum group metals from an old coastal-marine zone. During development of salt deposit presence of platinum in sandy-clayey interlayers in salt mass is established. Then the position of the coastal line of the old sea is determined, during the drying of which the salt deposit was formed. Further, geological mapping is carried out and the position of nearby primary deposits of platinum is determined, as well as the direction of shift of detrital material from them. Areas of intersection of the old coastal-marine zones with the area of shift of detrital material containing platinum are determined. Thereafter, gravity survey is carried out in areas of intersection and depth of platinum is preliminarily set. After that, wells are drilled and samples are taken, in which content of platinum is determined. Then rock deposits with industrial concentrations of platinum are delineated and these deposits are extracted.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of delineation of rock deposits with industrial concentrations of these metals, increased complexity of deposit development.
