SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedic dentistry. Method for making a prosthesis of an extensive maxillofacial defect involves scanning and modelling a silicone epithesis equipped with a removable fixation system on the bone tissue of the skull. Impression transfers are bound to the transfer check by means of a self-hardening plastic, and a correcting layer is created in the area of transfers, which is filled with a base polyester mass. Implant analogues are placed on the impression copings. Silicon material is poured into the impression to produce a mask model. Obtained model is scanned to simulate the prosthesis fixation system and the direction and parallelism of the implants are determined. Directions of introduction and removal for each implant are determined. Removable system for fixation of a prosthesis of an extensive maxillofacial defect comprises magnetic attachments, threaded implants and an intermediate element with holes for installation of implants and fixation of the intermediate element to the bone tissue of the skull. Intermediate element has the shape of a ring and is connected to the magnetic attachments by means of support sites. Support platforms are arranged on the first section of the intermediate element. Holes for installation of implants and fixation of the intermediate element to the bone tissue of the skull are oriented to the plane of the ring at angles from 10 to 85°are provided with thread and are located in support elements, which are made on the second section of the ring. Second section of the ring has a cross-sectional size greater than that of the first section by at least 0.5 mm.

EFFECT: more reliable fixation of prostheses of an extensive maxillofacial defect, in particular, an eye, periobital and zygomatic regions.
