FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cardiovascular surgery. After performing the arteriotomy and before the anastomosis, different techniques of the action of the paclitaxel solution are used separately or in combination with each other on the vascular wall in the area of forming an anastomosis of the shunt with the artery. Solution is introduced into the artery wall in the area of each formed anastomosis with a shunt. Inner wall of the artery is applied after a local endarterectomy in the area of forming a future anastomosis with a shunt using a tampon soaked in a paclitaxel solution. Suture material pre-impregnated with a paclitaxel solution is used to form an anastomosis between an artery and a shunt. Inter-arterial synthetic shunt made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) pre-soaked in a paclitaxel solution is implanted.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the risk of developing restenosis within the anastomosis after reconstructive surgeries on the arteries of the lower extremities, reducing the rate of amputations of the lower extremities.
