SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cardiovascular surgery. Distal part of superficial femoral artery in region of transition of obliterated artery into preserved vascular lumen, which is located at the level of the Hunter's canal. A common femoral artery is catheterized through a contralateral approach. An angiographic guide and a catheter are used for catheter insertion into the occlusion of the superficial femoral artery. A balloon 5–7 mm in diameter is inserted into the common femoral and femoral artery. Then, through the performed approach in the area of the Hunter's canal and arteriotomy along the guide in the proximal direction by introducing the inflated balloon into the lumen of the Vollmar recovery probe, the artery is deobliterated. Further, an occlusive atheromatous fragment is cut off at the distal border of the balloon with Vollmar recovery probe. Control angiography is followed by placing a nitinol stent from an arteriotomy approach in the orifice of the superficial femoral artery.

EFFECT: method enables deobliteration of the artery from one approach; increase functional mobility of superficial femoral artery in the Hunter's canal; perform prevention of subintimal detachment of intima in common femoral artery with secondary embolism in deep femoral artery; preserve anatomy of the common femoral artery in the place of its physiological bend and surrounding tissues.
