SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of pharmaceutics, namely to an aqueous composition for chemical peeling and its use in a cosmetic method of skin renewal obtained by stimulating skin cell regeneration, causing improvement of skin elasticity and elasticity in comparison with untreated skin area and production of fibroblasts and mature collagen, as well as for cosmetic peeling. Aqueous chemical peeling composition contains trichloroacetate salts in a concentration in range from 20 to 40 wt./wt.%, one or more hydroxy acids selected from citric acid and tartaric acid, in a concentration in range of 0.5 to 10 wt./wt.%, and at least one component selected from homocysteic acid, phytic acid in a concentration in range of 0.2 to 4.0 wt./wt.%, glycerol at a concentration of less than 15 wt./wt.%, an oxidant in a concentration of less than 1 wt./wt.%, and a hydrophilic pharmaceutically acceptable gelling agent in a concentration of up to 7 wt./wt.%. Disclosed is use of said composition in a cosmetic method of skin renewal obtained by stimulating skin cell regeneration, which improves elasticity and skin elasticity compared to untreated skin area and production of fibroblasts and mature collagen, as well as use of said composition for cosmetic peeling.

EFFECT: said group of inventions enables to reduce the risk of chemical peeling side effects, such as whitening, scarring, infection, reactivation of herpes simplex infections and contrast staining of the treated skin.
