SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of protecting mobile or stationary objects, namely to methods of protecting military equipment using a device for protection against damaging objects. Method of protecting an object from damaging elements consists in changing the flight path of the damaging element. Object protection device from damaging elements in the form of rotating blades is installed above the protected object, then the generator is switched on, note here that screen is formed above the protected object by rotating the blades with the possibility of adjusting the speed of rotation of the blades. Object protection device from damaging elements consists of rotation generator, shaft and blades, note here that one end of the shaft is fitted on the rotation generator by means of a folding mechanism, while the second end of the shaft is fitted with blades.

EFFECT: higher level of protection of object due to possibility of reflection of damaging elements of different size, as well as possibility of production of lightweight design of protection device.
