SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluorescent detection of fluoride and hydroxide ions using a chemical sensor and can be used for sanitary control and standardization of food products, drugs, consumer goods, drinking and tap water. Chemical fluorescent sensor for detecting fluoride and hydroxide ions in solutions is based on poly[1,1'-([1,1'-biphenyl]-2,2'-diyl)bis(3-(2'-(((E)-4-(dimethylamino)benzylidene)amino)-[1,1'-diphenyl]-2-yl)urea)] and has the following structural formula: , where Me is a methyl group.
EFFECT: high efficiency of detecting fluoride and hydroxide ions in solutions.
