FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing rubber articles, specifically to methods of volumetric modification of rubber for the purpose of directed change of their properties. Disclosed is a method of modifying rubber, which involves adding modifying additives to a rubber mixture, which are metal oxide powder and/or metal carbide powder and/or boron nitride powder and/or carbon containing powders (for example, schungite) and/or fluorinated ether products. Manometric liquid M-1 0.1–2.0 wt.pts. and/or perfluoroeicosane n-C20F42 in amount of 0.2–40 wt.pts., which are capable of diffusion migration to the surface of the vulcanised article, are additionally added to the rubber mixture.
EFFECT: improved antifriction properties of rubber mixtures due to volumetric modification.
