FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for pre-implantation treatment of biological prostheses for cardiovascular surgery. Method for pre-implantation treatment of biological prostheses for cardiovascular surgery involves immersion in an aqueous solution of glycerol, content of which is 50–60%, pre-washed from preserving solution of biological prostheses, drying of biological prostheses and their sterilization with ethylene oxide, characterized in that the incubation time in the glycerol solution is 16–24 hours, to increase bio- and hemocompatibility, an anticoagulant is added to the glycerol solution—unfractionated or low-molecular heparin in a final concentration of 10–100 ED/ml, drying of the biological prosthesis takes place in a vacuum chamber for 6 hours at an overpressure of (−0.07) MPa.
EFFECT: above described method enables to perform pre-implantation treatment of prostheses for cardiovascular surgery with increase of their bio- and hemocompatibility.
