FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical equipment, namely to devices intended for contactless electromagnetic mixing of liquid metals, for example, aluminium and its alloys. Device for mixing electroconductive liquid media comprises a heat shield, comb-type magnetic conductors of the traveling field, between the teeth of which there are circular windings of the traveling field, enveloping magnetic conductor of the rotating field, which is composed and consists of six rectangular laminated sections, each of which has a protrusion in the centre, on which a rotating magnetic field coil is located, wherein said protrusion has tight contact with traveling field magnetic conductor comb elements, comb refrigerators located between the comb elements of the magnetic circuits and between the circular windings of the traveling field in the gaps between the thermal screen and the junction of the sections of the enclosing magnetic circuit of the traveling field.
EFFECT: simplification of the assembly of the invention during manufacturing and increase of the space for arrangement of refrigerators.
