SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation of loose materials. It can be used in agriculture, for example, when feeding grain into processing machines. In the screw feeder, the outlet neck is made in the form of a branch pipe protruding beyond the bottom of the loading hopper, in the loading hopper around the hole of the outlet neck there are rigidly fixed vertical guides, in which there is a gate arranged with the possibility of changing the position in height, which is made in the form of an inverted cylindrical barrel with a window in its bottom. Winding at the ends of the screw is made in different directions, the connection point of the multidirectional turns of the screw winding is located in the loading hopper, in the zone between its bottom and the extreme lower position of the gate, the auger is installed vertically, and is placed in the nozzle of the outlet neck of the loading hopper and the window of the bottom of the inverted cylindrical barrel of the gate.

EFFECT: providing unobstructed material supply and absence of its hanging due to application of multidirectional winding of auger blades in the loading neck and possibility to control supply due to vertical movement of cylindrical gate along guides.
