FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixing of loose materials and may be used in feed mill, food and chemical industries. Mixing is carried out by displacing mix by auger in direction from first wall inside the chamber. Finished product is discharged via first wall by reversing auger rotation. Circulation mixer comprises loading and mixing chambers communicate at their bottom by auger with reversing drive. One to three thirds of auger flights are located in loading chamber. Loading chamber bottom is provided with discharge opening outside of area occupied by auger flights. Flange inclined to mixing chamber is arranged above discharge opening and part of auger flights.
EFFECT: ruling out spontaneous outflow of mix in absence of shut-off element at mixer outlet.
