FIELD: controlling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling the state of cylinders on vehicles operating on compressed natural gas or hydrogen. Controller continuously polls temperature sensors installed on each cylinder and a pressure sensor installed in the main line of the gas cylinder equipment system. Through the controller, the temperature value of each cylinder is transmitted to the monitoring system through the monitoring terminal, wherein it is predetermined that during filling, an increase in the pressure and temperature of the gas in the cylinders is observed, and during draining, a decrease in the pressure and temperature of the gas in the cylinders is observed. Performing analysis of uniformity of temperature change of all cylinders, and determination of potentially closed cylinder based on difference of temperature profiles, and further transmission to the vehicle on-board computer of the corresponding message through the CAN protocol of information on the number of the potentially closed cylinder to notify the driver.

EFFECT: providing quality control of the state (open/closed) of cylinders in vehicles running on compressed natural gas or hydrogen.
