FIELD: combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for supplying fuel to an internal combustion engine of a gas-powered vehicle running on compressed natural gas (hereinafter referred to as CNG) and liquefied natural gas (hereinafter referred to as LNG). The fuel supply system to internal combustion engine 1 of a gas-powered vehicle is proposed, containing controller 4 with its own software, CNG-LNG switch button 3, CNG cylinder 7, CNG supply valve 6, LNG supply valve 12, reducer temperature sensor 8, LNG reducer 9 , LNG heat exchanger temperature sensor 10, LNG heat exchanger 11, LNG cylinder 13. The process of monitoring gas temperature in LNG heat exchanger 11 and controlling the switching of the fuel type is carried out automatically by controller 4, through which CNG and LNG supply valves 6, 12 are automated, while the fuel type is switched when the temperature of the LNG heat exchanger and the gas temperature reach the CNG/LNG switching threshold.
EFFECT: increased level of safety and durability of the fuel system of cars with gas equipment under low ambient temperatures.
