SUBSTANCE: method of attaching the deflector to the hood of a car, in which a device is used for attaching the deflector to the hood of the car, having a base of solid dense flexible material connected to a lever, where the lever is used to rest against the edge of the hood, and the deflector is attached through the fastening screw to the base, is characterized by that the base is made in the form of a flat base, having on one edge a pressing elongated element, and on top of the flat base is a support protrusion, in which a through hole is made from above through the entire base, wherein a faceted recess for the nut is formed from the bottom of the base coaxially to the through hole, and the lever is made in the form of a U-shaped bracket, one end of which is made elongated with a smooth bend and subsequent bend, in the plane of which a through hole is formed for the fastening screw for the nut thread and in the working position the screw is connected to the nut, while inserting it, respectively: through the fastening hole of the deflector, then through the hole of the U-shaped bracket and then through the through hole of the base.
