FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: air intake system has air cleaner consisting of housing 2, cover 3 and branch pipe, with filtering element 5 placed between housing and cover. Air cleaner is mounted on mixture preparation device 6 consisting of housing 7, fuel injector 8, shutter 9, members 10 and 11, and neck 12. Housing 2 of air cleaner 1 and housing 7 of mixture preparation device are connected by means of elastic gasket 13. Sealing of housings 2 and 7 is provided by clamp 14 which is secured on housing 7 by means of screws 20. Clamp is made in the form of cone which is essentially a hollow cylinder with generating line 15. One end face 16 is bent towards cylinder axis 17 and other end face 18 is bent from cylinder axis 17. Edge of end face is made to outline equivalent line 15. Bent portion of end face 16 is square to axis 7 of cylinder and its has at least two holes 19 for fixing clamp 14.
