FIELD: agriculture; fodder production.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method involving a single sowing of the vetch-oat mixture on May 8 by an ordinary method with row spacing of 15 cm with a seeding rate of oats of 120 kg/ha, of common vetch seeds—70 kg/ha at 100% seed germination and providing the onset of mowing ripeness of the vetch-oat mixture on the green mass of the first harvesting date on 14th of June in the phase of panicle formation in oats and common vetch blooming in 37 days, with further second resumption of growth of vetch-oat mixture, starting from 15th of June to 11th of July. At the same time the vetch-oat mixture of the second term was harvested after 26 days in the oat panicle formation phase and the common vetch blooming on 11th of July, with subsequent resumption of vetch-oat mixture regrowth from 12th of July to 14th of August. Third term vetch-oat mixture was harvested on August 14th in 33 days in the phase of panicle formation in oats and common vetch blooming and with the last fourth regrowth of the vetch-oat mixture from 15th of August to 19th of September with harvesting of the fourth term of the vetch-oat mixture on 19th of September in 35 days in the phase of panicle formation.

EFFECT: method ensures creation of favorable conditions for growth, development and formation of yield of the vetch-oat mixture under coverage and obtaining high, stable yield, fodder value, as well as efficiency.
