FIELD: agriculture; fodder production.

SUBSTANCE: method involves a single sowing of a pea-oat mixture on May 8 using a row method with row spacing of 15 cm with a seeding rate of 120 kg/ha of oats and 130 kg/ha of seed peas at 100 % seed germination and provides the onset of mowing ripeness of the pea-oat mixture on the green mass of the first harvesting date on 14th of June in the oat ear formation phase and in the pea flowering phase after 37 days, with further second renewal of pea-oat mixture, starting from 15th of June to 11th of July. At the same time harvesting of pea-oat mixture of the second term was carried out in 26 days in ear formation phase on 11th of July, followed by the third renewal of pea-oat mixture from 12th of July to 14th of August. Third term pea-oat mixture was harvested on August 14th in 33 days in the ear formation phase and with the last fourth renewal of the pea-oat mixture from 15 August to 19 September with harvesting of the fourth term of the pea-oat mixture on 19 September after 35 days in the ear formation phase.

EFFECT: method provides creation of favorable conditions for growth, development and formation of yield of pea-oat mixture under coverage with obtaining four full yields of green mass, with high stable yield and fodder value, as well as efficiency.
