FIELD: finishing of buildings.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a group of inventions relating to finishing materials intended for interior and exterior finishing of buildings and/or structures in construction. Baseboard is characterized by the fact that it contains a shaped body having a front and rear surfaces, and two butt ends, between the front and rear surfaces of the shaped body there is a free space with cells formed by stiffness ribs, front and rear surfaces of the shaped body have curved and straight sections of the shaped body, wherein the straight sections of the rear surface adjacent to the wall make at least 60% of the body height, wherein cells formed by stiffness ribs and rectilinear sections of shaped body are quadrangular along profile with angles from 85° up to 95°, and the shaped body and stiffness ribs are a single cast structure, as well as the technical result is achieved by a baseboard system comprising such a baseboard.
EFFECT: high strength of the baseboard and baseboard system.
