FIELD: tea industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tea industry, namely to the field of tea vegetal raw materials processing. Method of processing tea petioles, including classification, separation, milling, drying, is characterized by the fact that pre-treated tea petioles are used, and after separation raw material is conditioned to moisture content of 35±10% at temperature 65-85 °C with subsequent resting for 1.5-2 hours to ambient temperature and flattening to thickness of 0.4-1.0 mm, wherein after grinding, secondary conditioning with steam is performed, and drying is carried out with superheated steam at pressure of 6-9 atm to moisture content in product of 11-15% with subsequent separation and resting, wherein grinding is carried out with pitch of 3-5 mm.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase coefficient of tea raw materials usage, enhance consumer and nutritive value of tea.
