FIELD: electrical engineering; electric power industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and power engineering and can be used to control voltage in a load connected by a tap to a power transmission line with two-way power supply. Currents in wires consumed by load and phase voltages of power supplies are measured. Load positive-sequence current and positive-sequence voltage of power supplies are generated. Values of active and reactive resistances of positive sequence of the line from one and the second source of supply to spur are determined, values of active and reactive components of current of positive sequence of load are determined from complex current of load. Equivalent circuit of the one-way power supply of the load is formed and the value of the reactive component of the positive sequence current of the reactive power compensator is determined. Based on the obtained current value, sinusoidal instantaneous phase currents are generated, which are supplied in the next period of the main frequency to the cut of wires connected in parallel to the load. Formed currents can be of both capacitive and inductive nature, which should be taken into account in the circuit of controlled current sources, switching on the capacitor or the reactor by switches, depending on the value of the compensator current when generating sinusoidal instantaneous values of phase currents.

EFFECT: automatic maintenance of the specified voltage value in the load unit.
