FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to passenger aircraft seats. Compartment (10) for storage of lifejacket of vehicle seat comprises folding panel (11) and pivotally connected first power panel and second power panel. On the first panel there are hinges for engagement with the lock arranged on the second panel. On the second panel axle (20) is fixed with fixed tongue (22) made with possibility of interaction with pushing element (32), connected with harness (31) of bag (30) of life jacket, and plate with hole, connected by means of rod with lock retainer.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the compartment opening mechanism reliability.
