SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of enisamium iodide for reducing inflammatory reactions. Disclosed is the use of a composition comprising an active substance enisamium iodide in an effective amount, for suppressing inflammatory processes in a patient by stimulating the secretion of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 by mononuclear cells, to achieve stable viability of macrophages and inhibition of their oxidative activity and suppression of inflammatory processes in a patient, while ensuring safety of cells of the immune system.
EFFECT: invention provides inhibition of inflammatory reactions.
