FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structures of telecommunication towers and is intended for connection of their sections. Flange element consists of two outer layers made in the form of metal plates of annular shape, between which there is an inner layer made in the form of a metal plate of annular shape of a smaller diameter, said layers are welded together. Through bolt holes and through slots are made coaxially along outer perimeter of layers. Stiffening ribs are placed in the slots and fixed with a welded joint, the vertical walls of which face the centre of the flange element. Outer layers and inner layers in the form of rings are stamped from metal, along the outer perimeter of each layer on their fields coaxially through equal intervals corresponding to the number of bolt holes, bolt holes are drilled, between which slots are turned, the number of which corresponds to the required number of stiffening ribs, then the upper outer layer, the inner layer and the lower outer layer are aligned coaxially and bolted together, stiffening ribs are installed in slots, layers are pre-welded in four diametrically opposite points of end surfaces of flange element in cavity of external grooves and similar diametrically opposite points in cavity of internal grooves, stiffening ribs bases are welded at the slots location with the lower outer layer material, after which the stiffening ribs are welded with the upper outer layer material, thereafter, layers are welded to each other in outer grooves along outer radius of outer layers and in inner grooves along inner radius of outer layers.
EFFECT: higher strength of flange element.
