FIELD: thermal physics for research in the field of nuclear power station safety.
SUBSTANCE: proposed current lead designed for use in full-scale test facilities has contact plate electrically connected to power supply on outer perimeter and to upper current lead of nuclear reactor fuel assembly simulator, on bore perimeter through uniformly distributed connection points by means of flexible conductors. Contact plate is bimetal structure with alternating cross layers. Conductors are connected to contact plate at its part where material of layers is homogeneous. Points of connection on plate are made in the form of slots. Flexible conductors are made in the form of stacks of flexible conducting strips. The latter turn to lugs with narrowed bottom part and extended top one; both parts are coupled with surfaces of respective slots and fixed in the latter by means of lock joint. With such lock joint lugs abuts through their extended part against plate between collars above slot. Collars are formed in drilling grooves of which one is made over extreme perimeter of bore and other has through holes in plate.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of test facility upper current lead when operating with high-power fuel assembly simulator.
