SUBSTANCE: invention relates to containers that can be connected to each other, as well as containers with variable capacity. Container for storage and transportation of cargoes contains frame (1), two side walls (2.1, 2.2), front wall (3), rear wall (4) and bottom (5). At the front on frame (1) there is at least one crossbar lock (6) with retainer (7) rigidly installed on the far end of crossbar lock (6) and made with possibility of rotation during rotation of crossbar lock (6). At least one hook (8) is installed behind on frame (1). At least one fastener (9) is installed on each side wall (2.1, 2.2) or on frame (1) on the side of each side wall (2.1, 2.2). At least one lock (10) is installed on front wall (3), and front wall (3) is made with possibility of changing its position by its lifting or lowering. System of containers comprises at least one container for storage and transportation of cargoes and fastening panel (11).

EFFECT: wider range of containers and container systems used to date, as well as ensuring efficiency and speed of the process of loading and unloading cargo and its transportation, reliable fixation of containers during storage and transportation.
