FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely to a method of making a wind-resistant yurt. Method of manufacturing yurt includes fabrication of roof, walls from intersecting strips. Wall is made in the form of a figure with a side surface of a rectangle with rounding by semicircles of two opposite sides, the base is in the form of a rectangle, major axis of which is located parallel to axis of wind rose vector with maximum value of wind mode in this place according to long-term observations. Manufacturing of the yurt frame begins with setting up sections of the wall with its additional contraction. Further, from the lower side of the dome window, mounting temporary T-shaped posts for mounting rafters are fixed. Rafters tenons are installed in slots of dome window, second end of rafters is laid in V-shaped projections in wall and rafters are tied to wall strips with nylon cord, then cable is passed between strips of wall and in holes of rafters.
EFFECT: higher stability of yurt.
