SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 3-substituted phenylamidine compound of general formula (I) or an agriculturally acceptable salt or stereoisomer, where R1 is C1-C6alkyl; R2 is C1-C6alkyl; R3 is selected from the group consisting of X, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkyl and S(O)nR′′′; R4 is selected from the group consisting of X, cyano, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkyl and OR′′; R4a and R4b are hydrogen; A is -{[C(R6R7)]0-2-(B)0-1}-, where B is NR5 or CR6R7; or A is -O-CR6R7-C(O)-; R5 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C1-C6alkyl; R6 and R7 are hydrogen; ring E is selected from the group consisting of phenyl, pyridinyl, pyridazinyl, pyrimidinyl, pyrazinyl and benzothiazolyl, which are optionally substituted with one to three R8 groups; R8 is selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, X, cyano, nitro, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6haloalkyl, OR′′ and S(O)nR′′′; two R8 together with the atoms to which they are attached, or together with additional atoms selected from the group consisting of N, O, can form a five-six-membered ring; X is a halogen; R" is selected from the group consisting of C1-C6alkyl and C1-C6haloalkyl; R" is selected from R"; n is integer 0. Invention also relates to a method of producing a compound of formula (I), a composition for controlling and/or preventing the appearance of phytopathogenic fungi, comprising a compound of formula (I), method of controlling or preventing occurrence of phytopathogenic fungi, comprising using a compound of formula (I) or a composition, method of controlling rust diseases, comprising using a compound of formula (I) or a composition, treating a seed with a compound of formula (I) for protection against phytopathogenic fungi, method of controlling and preventing infection of useful plants with phytopathogenic fungi, comprising using a compound of formula (I) or a composition, a compound of formula (A), where Z is X; R1 is C1-6alkyl; R2 is C1-6alkyl; R3 is selected from the group consisting of X, C1-6alkyl, C1-6haloalkyl and S(O)nR′′′; R4 is selected from the group consisting of X, cyano, C1-6alkyl, C1-6haloalkyl and OR′′, where R and R '' 'are defined in cl. 1, and an intermediate compound selected from the group for obtaining a compound of formula (I).
