FIELD: petrophysical interpretation of geophysical well logging.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for reconstructing lithological heterogeneity of deposits based on geophysical well logging data based on results of calculating physical parameters of mineral mixtures. Disclosed is a method of reconstructing lithological heterogeneity of deposits based on results of calculating physical parameters of separate conceptual mixtures, which includes geophysical surveys in wells with recording of physical fields parameters: natural radioactivity and hydrogen content—according to radioactive logging data, acoustic wave interval time is based on acoustic logging data, apparent resistivity is based on electromagnetic logging data, volumetric density is based on gamma-gamma density logging data. X-ray diffraction analysis is carried out on core samples to determine mineral composition of rocks and based on the results of X-ray structural analysis, a concept of mineral mixtures is developed based on the content of the main rock-forming minerals. Further, the physical parameters of the net volumes are calculated using the GS-Petrophysics technology based on the mineral mixtures determined at the previous stage. Calculated curves of physical parameters of mineral mixtures are visualized on a geophysical well logging board and qualitative analysis of results is carried out, wherein change in nature of curves of hydrogen content of pure clays and radioactivity of matrix—increase/decrease of readings, boundaries of lithofacies changes are established, and assessment of validity of selected boundaries is carried out by their comparison with intervals of layer-by-layer description of core.
EFFECT: reconstructed lithological heterogeneity of deposits in the form of identified boundaries of lithofacies changes corresponding to the level of heterogeneity on the core.
