SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in optical instrument making, precision metrology, precision machine building. Autocollimator brand is selected in the form of a two-dimensional raster from transparent elements on an opaque plate, wherein characteristic dimensions of transparent elements of mark and minimum distance between them exceed characteristic size of pixel of matrix photodetector, and linear dimensions of mark do not exceed linear dimensions of matrix photodetector.
EFFECT: determination of rotation angles of an object with high accuracy using a two-dimensional autocollimator at large distances to the object with a wider range of determined angles.
