SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to maxillofacial surgery. By means of CT-angiography of soft tissues of maxillofacial area and neck, localization of new growth and its sources of blood supply are determined. Then, at the first stage of treatment, superselective catheterization of pathological branches is performed. Arteriogram-controlled embolisation of branches of external carotid artery feeding the tumour is performed with PVA particles 150-200 micron Boston Scientific. In 7 days, at the second stage of treatment, under anaesthesia with nasotracheal intubation by fibre-optic bronchoscope, surgical intervention is performed with external approach from submandibular region. New growth is separated, separated from the pharyngeal process of the parotid gland and removed with adjoining glandular tissue. Layer-by-layer closure of soft tissues, wound drainage, application of aseptic dressing are performed.

EFFECT: method enables preserving the parotid gland when removing benign growths of the pharyngeal process of the parotid salivary gland, reducing the risk of bleeding during the surgical intervention, reducing the length of the surgical and anaesthetic care.
