FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making incision in submandibular region, transecting digastric and stylohyoid muscle, mobilizing external carotid. The stylohyoid muscle is used as a reference object. The process is separated from fascia, muscles, neurovascular bundle of the neck and transected 10-15 mm apart from the base. The wound is sutured. EFFECT: high accuracy; low risk of traumatic injuries.
