SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of training ground-based missile systems. Simulator of driver mechanic comprises automated workstation of instructor and automated workstation of driver mechanic installed in cabin simulator with simulators of control and indication elements connected to automated workstation of instructor. As these simulators, used are simulators of steering wheel with ignition switch, clutch pedal, parking brake lever, engine emergency stop handle, manual fuel control handle, gearshift lever, tachometer, indicators: engine oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, pressure in the brake system, diesel generator control unit, switches: battery compartment ventilation, accumulator, fuel supply from tanks, fuel pump, power takeoff, transfer of transfer box, indicators: parking brake actuation, steering booster pump malfunction, gearbox lower range actuation, transfer gear actuation and power takeoff actuation.
