FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to active electroosmotic drying of walls and foundations of buildings and structures. Method involves placing in the volume or on the surface of the dried wall of anodes in several horizontal rows at different heights, as well as cathodes – below the lower limit of drying on the foundation or inside it and in the ground. Anodes and cathodes are connected to the positive and negative poles of the direct current source, respectively, to pass current between them. Drying of the wall is carried out in stages, creating a variable electric field between the cathode located on the foundation or inside it, and each of the horizontal rows of the anodes, starting from the upper one, with displacement of electric field as level of capillary rise of moisture from top to bottom with subsequent switching of negative pole of current source to cathode located in soil. Also disclosed is a device for implementing this method.
EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to increase efficiency of electroosmotic drying of walls of buildings and structures.
