FIELD: timber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wood processing industry, in particular, to equipment for separation of birch bark from bast. Installation for separation of birch bark from bast includes bed, receiving hopper. Device is equipped with a rectangular housing, inside which there are three rows of driven corrugated cylindrical rollers. Wherein drive rolls of the device are coupled with shafts of rotary pneumatic motor driven by pneumatic unit while driven rolls are fitted in movable spring-loaded supports to adjust clearance between rolls.
EFFECT: improved quality of birch bark separation, simplified design, reduced material consumption.
