FIELD: gyro wheelchairs for people with disabilities.
SUBSTANCE: gyro wheelchair comprises a seat, two wheels, wheel electric motors, a storage battery, a gyroscope, a control module, a multi-link suspension, a retractable third wheel. Multi-link suspension represents two shock absorbers and levers. Two levers and one shock absorber make for each wheel a unit for compensation of vertical vibrations during movement. Each unit has one degree of freedom of movement up and down. Retractable third wheel is installed behind the axle of the said wheels.
EFFECT: improved stabilization of gyro wheelchair control.
