FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular to methods and devices for determining properties (type and characteristics) of rock mass during percussion-rotary drilling during construction of mine workings. Performing arrangement of seismic sensors on the contour of the mine working face, trial percussion-rotary drilling of the rock mass using the self-propelled drilling rig, measurement of frequency characteristics of vibroseis signals of percussion-rotary drilling and visual determination of type and characteristics of rock massif during test drilling. Processing of vibroseis signals and changes in frequency characteristics of signals is carried out according to sound-altitude classes with formation during test drilling of a database of a plurality of sound heights differing from each other by an integer number of octaves and corresponding to types of rocks. Determination of the type and characteristics of the rock mass is carried out during subsequent drilling by the coefficients of sound-altitude classes.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining types and characteristics of low-power structures.
