FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used as a device for measuring axle load and monitoring congestion and uniformity of cargo distribution for trucks. Axle load measurement sensor is included in the truck load measuring system including independent sensors for measuring wheel axle displacement and a terminal providing data collection from the sensors via a wireless communication channel with output of the measured parameter in the form of total weight and load on each axle. Sensor comprises: a radio-permeable sealed housing made from impact-resistant oil-and-gasoline-resistant and heat-resistant plastic, a lever transmitting linear movements of the suspension of the vehicle into the rotational movement of the axis of the presented sensor, on which the transmitting coil of the measuring sensor is located with a given radial displacement, sensor axis is fixed in the sensor housing by means of two bearings providing free rotation of the sensor axis and preventing axial movement of the sensor axis; in addition, a gland seal is installed in the housing on the sensor axis, which prevents ingress of moisture and other destructive factors inside the sensor. Two receiving coils of the sensor are fixed relative to the housing inside the sensor at a fixed distance from the transmitting coil, on which EMF is induced. Signal from the receiving coils of the sensor is detected by the microcontroller, according to the level of which the value of the load on the vehicle axle is calculated.
EFFECT: design of the presented sensor makes it possible to exclude friction elements and increase reliability of the system, while simultaneously reducing the cost of the sensor.
