FIELD: signalling and communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an infrared light signalling and communication system for a military vehicle convoy. System comprises a column control vehicle, radio stations, light signal sources, audio signal sources, coloured flags, retransmitting transceivers of infrared wavelength range and emitters-photoreceivers of infrared radiation, microphone, telephones and light signalling device, switchboard-selector, drones, take-off and landing pads for drones. Three pairs of infrared radiation emitter-photodetector in “forward, backward, upward” directions are installed on each transport facility of the column. Microphone, telephones and light signalling device are connected to vehicle transceiver. Switch-selector for remote control of modes of convoy transceivers is located in command vehicle. Drones contain repeaters and pairs of receivers-emitters of infrared signals. Drone take-off and landing pads are located on vehicles.
EFFECT: providing information communication between participants of the column to control the movement of the column and create conditions for electromagnetic and signal-sound masking of the column.
