SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Method of signalling in vehicle column consists in excitation by electric information signals of light signals in vehicle transmitting signal, transferring them in the direction along the column and recording in the car receiving the signal. At the same time, a sinusoidal electrical high-frequency carrier signal is additionally generated, the carrier signal is modulated by the amplitude of the transmitted information electric signal, the obtained modulated electric carrier signal is amplified by power and the amplified signal is excited and the intensity signal is modulated. Light signal wavelengths are selected in the infrared range, the excited light signal is transmitted along the column, and in the vehicle receiving the signal, converting the received light signal into an electrical signal, amplifying the light signal, high-frequency modulated carrier signal is extracted from the amplified signal by frequency-phase method with suppression of signals of other frequencies, from which amplitude changes are detected in form of transmitted information electric signal, which is amplified by power and converted into signals acting on car driver receptors, in particular, audio or light signals.

EFFECT: higher safety of traffic line movement.
