FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to conversion equipment, and can be used in secondary power supplies, voltage converters and devices for galvanic isolation of power and signal circuits. Parametric transformer comprises a rectangular or toroidal ferromagnetic core, a primary winding located in through holes in the volume of the core so that the main directions of primary and secondary magnetic fluxes are orthogonal, a secondary winding wound over the core, to which a resonant capacitor is connected.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of energy conversion in parametric transformer due to increased amplitude of induction, amplitude of change of magnetic permeability, amplitude of change in inductance and, accordingly, increase in the parametric component of the EMF when placing the primary winding in through holes in the volume of the core and excluding the buckling of the magnetic flux in the saturation zone.
